Located just a short 3km drive from Manjimup, this huge tree is around 600 years old. In 1910 it narrowly missed being cut down for fence posts and sleepers. The tree was blazed with a broad arrow to signify it was crown property. In 1921 the tree was officially set aside as a 'unique tree'. Its height is 47 metres and diameter 2.69 metres at chest height. There is a heritage trail (suitable for the disabled) and a picnic area with gas barbecues. A great wildflower show occurs in this area in spring.
